Shoe Making Material Hydrocarbon Hydrocarbon Resin

Product Detail Page: Hydrogenated Hydrocarbon Resin (C5 / C9)

I. Product Overview

Our hydrogenated hydrocarbon resins are produced from cracked C5 and C9 fractions through advanced polymerization and hydrogenation processes. The result is a high-quality, multi-purpose, water-white thermoplastic resin. These resins feature excellent thermal stability, low odor, light color, and good compatibility. They are widely used in adhesives, rubber modification, plastic processing, waterproofing materials, and more.

II. C5 Hydrogenated Hydrocarbon Resin

Key Features:

  • Water-white granular form, pure appearance

  • Low odor, excellent thermal stability

  • Good compatibility with SIS, APAO, natural rubber, and other base polymers

  • Strong aging resistance for long-term use

Main Applications:

  • Non-woven fabrics field: Used as a binding agent in the production of disposable diapers, sanitary napkins, and similar materials

  • Hot-melt adhesives / Hot-melt pressure sensitive adhesives (HMPSA): Functions as a tackifier to improve initial tack and holding power

  • Sealants: Enhances bond strength and flexibility

  • Rubber modification: Improves rubber processability and adhesion

  • Plastic modification: Suitable for OPP film, polypropylene (PP), and other plastics as a tackifying or modifying additive

  • Ink additives: Improves ink adhesion and gloss

  • Waterproofing agents: Enhances the bonding effect between coatings and substrates

III. C9 Hydrogenated Hydrocarbon Resin

Key Features:

  • Water-white transparent granules

  • High heat resistance, good stability

  • Excellent compatibility with EVA, SBS, SEBS, rubber, polyolefins, and other base materials

Main Applications:

  • Hot-melt adhesives (HMA): Improves bond strength and thermal stability

  • Hot-melt pressure sensitive adhesives (HMPSA): Enhances initial tack and peel strength

  • Rubber modification: Increases rubber tack and processability

  • BOPP film: Used as an adhesive layer or modifying additive

  • Polyolefin modification: Improves mechanical properties and surface adhesion

IV. Packaging and Storage

Packaging Options:

  • 500-700 kg plastic woven bags

  • 25 kg craft paper bags

Storage Conditions:

  • Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse

  • Avoid direct sunlight and moisture

  • Warehouse temperature: Do not exceed 35°C (95°F)

  • Relative humidity: Do not exceed 85%

Shelf Life:
Under the recommended storage conditions, use within 12 months to ensure optimal performance.

V. Safety and Handling Notes

  • Not for direct contact with food or personal care products

  • Wear a mask and gloves during handling to avoid dust inhalation

  • In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention
